Miguel, the founder of MSKP, has a remarkable journey that led him to create his own clothing brand. Coming from humble beginnings in SOUTH LONDON, he experienced the challenges of not being able to afford the latest fashion trends. However, he didn't let that stop him from looking his best. As a young boy, he learned to make the most of the clothes he had and found ways to express his unique style.

Growing up, Miguel realized that standing out and looking different wasn't always seen as a positive thing. But as he entered adulthood, he embraced his individuality and started investing in the clothes he loved. His fashion choices caught the attention of others, and he was frequently asked about where he bought his clothes. This sparked his curiosity about the fashion industry and he began exploring it further, even getting spotted by model scout which led to the opportunity to work as a catwalk model.

In a short time Miguel started modelling for free to build up his portfolio, to then being put forward to national modelling competition the prize was winning a 2 year contract with a top modelling agency and taking home £2000 in cash.

With 300 males and females contestants, Miguel went through all the ranks to then being crown the winner UKFINEST 2009.

After the buzz of winner the competition and being on the front page of the local newspaper faded Miguel temporarily lost the love he once had to the profession (Modelling). Then trying different jobs and not finding his true calling, Miguel's passion for fashion never waned. One day, he stumbled upon a drawing of a trainer that his eight-year-old daughter had made. Inspired by her creativity, he picked up a pencil and started sketching himself. To his surprise, he discovered a natural talent for design. From simple doodles, he progressed to creating his own unique trainer designs.

This pivotal moment led Miguel to embark on a journey to bring his designs to life. Despite not knowing where to start, he immersed himself in research, learning about marketing and seeking guidance from YouTube. Eventually, he found a manufacturer who could turn his sketches into reality. This experience confirmed his calling in life.

Not only was Miguel able to bring his trainers to life, but he also had the freedom to select different textiles, textures, and colors to enhance his designs. The first sample he created was a masterpiece, solidifying his belief that a simple drawing on paper could transform into something tangible.

In a world where major brands like Nike and Adidas dominate the sneaker market, Miguel's journey was a testament to the fact that anyone can create their own unique footwear and share it with the world. Inspired by his success, he expanded his brand to include tracksuits, t-shirts, sunglasses, and more. Like an alchemist, Miguel was finally on the pursuit of his personal legend, turning his passion for fashion into a thriving clothing brand.
